What do we do?
RFS Projects build homes, investment properties, unit developments and commercial projects on the North West Coast of Tasmania. We travel as far as Port Sorell, Latrobe, and Devonport through to Ulverstone, Penguin, Burnie and Somerset.
We build around 50 homes per year and are one of the most reputable builders on the North West Coast. We believe our success comes from offering a complete package incorporating design, approvals, and construction; having the resources and skills to complete every project on time without ever compromising quality; efficiencies from the use of the best equipment and techniques available; and access to the best subcontractors available.
We enjoy the challenge of designing and building commercial projects and can facilitate the entire process from concept to completion. We pride ourselves on the wide variety of projects we have completed in the past and look forward to more in the future.
From the moment we entered the office in Tugrah Rd, we were warmly greeted and felt at ease.
Roger and Rob listened to our needs and quickly got to work with our plans. After many changes to the plans that were never a bother to Rob and a lot of guidance from Roger, we were on our way to build. Everything was done for us and having samples on site was a bonus.
Kaitlan & Karlieanne guided us through all the paper trail and were always pleasant and very helpful. Jamie kept us well informed on the building progress and was always very responsive to any queries we had. The workers on site were fabulous in showing us around and always explained things to us in detail.To all the behind the scene workers that we didn’t meet, a huge thank you from us as it needs a good team to have such a successful outcome.

Initially we met with Roger to take some levels on the block and found him to be very creative and obliging in meeting our needs. He was extremely helpful as I was new to the area.

The building process with RFS has been very positive and rewarding.
Our build was completed a lot quicker than outlined in our contract and was a relatively stress-free experience. The staff in the office were always happy to answer any questions and were also very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Our project manager was in regular contact to let us know how the house was progressing and would also ring often to double check how we want things and get our input. He was also happy to offer advice and recommendations on the times we felt unsure. I would and so recommend RFS to friends and family.
We loved how easy it was to build a home with RFS Projects.
I initially felt very overwhelmed, thinking what a huge task building a house is, but the team took us through the process step by step, so that there was really very little stress during the process. Right from drafting up the plans, sorting out council approval, and building the home and all the bits and pieces that go along with it. The quality of work and end-product is fantastic. Roger was a great help with the plans when I wasn’t too sure what I wanted, onwards from there the whole team was a pleasure to work with. Jamie has kept me informed and was always contactable.
